after the purchase of one of his puppies. |
 |

kennel should be clean and well kept. His dogs should
appear confident and unstressed with him. |

Questions you should
ask a breeder:
 |
Ask about the background of
his dogs. |
 |
What type of socialization
this puppy has had, if any? |
 |
Why did he pick this
particular breeding? |
 |
What did he expect from
this breeding, and were these expectations
met? |
 |
What type of training do
his dogs have, and what type of training does he
perform? |
 |
Does he compete with his
dogs? And in what type of shows (obedience,
conformation, herding, agility, tracking,
Schutzhund)? |
 |
Ask to see the kennels,
adult dogs, and littermates. |
